We run our own 14-acre pit in East Haddam, so we control the material we use on every job — and make it available to you too.
Why It Matters
Owning our own pit means we're not waiting on outside suppliers or guessing at material quality. Everything we place on a job — under a driveway, around a foundation, in a drainage trench — comes from our pit.

From Our Pit
Unscreened, 3", 1¼", ½", and ⅜" — all the same material at different screen sizes. Unscreened is best when you need larger rock mixed in to fill a big area; screened down to ⅜" is good for pipe bedding, horse rink material, or anywhere you need it free of larger rock.
A coarser material well suited to building the base of a road.
Unscreened, 3" and 1¼" — the material to build up and grade with before finishing with topsoil, ideal for filling in a lawn area.
Straight off our rock crusher — makes a solid road base.
Coated on top of the 3" processed stone as a finished surface.
Off our crusher, with the fines taken out.
For lawns, landscaping, and finish grading.
